Gaikai announced today that it will be bring?ing an open beta of its cloud gam?ing ser?vice to Face?book! So you can demo some top full games stream?ing over the inter?net and not have to worry about hav?ing a gam?ing rig or a mon?ster video card you just need a com?puter (PC or MAC) any major web browser and the lat?est ver?sion of Java and POW! You are gaming!

David Perry, CEO of Gaikai had this to say about being able to stream on Facebook:
?
Peo?ple don?t want to leave Face?book to play games ? Zynga?s phe?nom?e?nal suc?cess is proof of that, Cloud Gam?ing means that the game doesn?t need to be down?loaded and run on your com?puter, it lit?er?ally means the game runs out on the inter?net, in the cloud, with the expe?ri?ence being streamed to the play?ers. Most video game pub?lish?ers are now seek?ing to grow their dig?i?tal cus?tomer base and unlike movie and music ser?vices like Net?flix and Spo?tify, Gaikai gives the game pub?lish?ers rela?tion?ships with the customers.?
?
?The power of Face?book is not only in the vast size of the con?nected audi?ence, but also in the qual?ity of the social ties and inter?ac?tions that occur within the net?work. The Face?book social graph fuels our mantra ?Try it for free?, ?Share it if you like it?, ?Buy it if you love?it?

The library of games that Gaikai has to offer is small but def?i?nitely worth a look! They offer Saints Row? The Third, Orcs Must Die, The Witcher 2, Dead Ris?ing 2? Off The Record, Mag?icka, Sniper? Ghost War?rior, and Farm?ing Sim?u?la?tor 2011 and may have more in the future. I tried to run this ser?vice via Face?boot and it bombed on every game I tried to play! Since it is a ?beta? I?ll chalk it up to that and hope to see it work?ing tomorrow?.
